Most projects run 6-10 weeks from order to install day. That window is custom fabrication. Your acrylic is cut for your walls, not pulled off a shelf. Nothing is torn up at your house during it.

What does a tub-to-shower conversion cost?
It depends on the size of the space, what the plumbing behind the tub looks like, and what you pick, so we don't publish one number and pretend it fits every bathroom. We come out for a free in-home consultation, walk you through your options, and put the number in writing. That number has 50% off the labor in it: half of what we charge for the day of work: old tub and surround out, hauled away, new shower in, room left clean. It is half off the labor, not half off the job. The materials are not discounted. Financing options are available to qualified homeowners.
Can you make it safe for someone who's already had a fall?
That's most of this work. Low thresholds so there's nothing to step over, built-in seating so nobody is standing the whole time, and grab bars placed where they're actually reached for. Tell us at the consultation who is using the shower and what happened, and it gets designed around that.
What actually happens at the in-home consultation?
We look at your bathroom and take the measurements. Measuring is one part of it, not the whole visit. Then we walk you through your options, explain what's included in your project, and leave you with a clear written quote. We put the scope of the work in writing before we order anything or tear anything out. It costs nothing, and there is nothing to sign while we are there.
How long does the whole thing take?
Two different numbers, and we'll give you both. Installation is fast: in as little as one day. The full project runs about 6-10 weeks from the day you order to the day we install, because the shower is fabricated for your bathroom. The weeks in between are fabrication, and none of it happens in your bathroom.
How much of a mess is this going to be?
One day of it, contained to one room. We protect the floors on the way in, take the old tub and surround out, remove the old materials, and leave the space clean. You are not living around an open bathroom for weeks. That part happens in the fabrication shop.
